Artvent Calendar Door #22: Girl and Chicken

As every time at the Frankfurt Book Fair, I thought this year: actually, I do not have the right pictures in my portfolio. Each time I have planned afterwards to paint something that might fit better. No fantasy, not too serious, suitable for children. This time I put my plan into action and the result was the girl with chicken. We’ll see if the children’s book publishers will be enthusiastic about it the next time I visit the fair. Keep your fingers crossed for me! … By the way: my portfolio was also very well received without the girl and her chicken-friend. Phew! =)
