Als Kind habe ich Star Wars einfach geliebt! Ich habe jeden kleinen Schnipsel, den ich in Zeitschriften finden konnte, ausgeschnitten und in eine Mappe geklebt, habe mir die Figuren auf Flohmärkten zusammen gesucht und war natürlich Mitglied im OSWFC – dem Official Star Wars Fan Club.
Für mich waren es zu dieser Zeit nicht nur Filme, sondern ein Gefühl … das (Spoiler) später so nie wieder in dieser Form von den neuen Filmen oder anderweitigen Publikationen geweckt werden konnte.
Episode I-III blende ich komplett aus, weil ich sie grauenhaft finde. Episode VII-IX (genau wie Solo) fand ich beim Schauen ganz nett, hatte sie aber schnell wieder vergessen. Wirklich gut fand ich Rogue One. Aber auch dieser Streifen war irgendwie nur so halb Star Wars für mich.
Tja, und nun schauen wir – wie so viele – The Mandalorian und auch wenn diese Serie ebenfalls nur irgendwie so halb Star Wars für mich ist, finde ich sie dennoch wirklich großartig! =D
Zumindest ein wenig des alten Es- ist-nicht-nur-SciFi-sondern-genau-so-viel-Fantasy-und-Puppenspiel-Feelings ist wieder da! Naja, und Grogu alias Eigentlich-werde-ich-für-immer-Baby-Yoda-heißen ist zwar ein kleiner Arsch, aber eben auch SUPERsüß! =)
Star Wars Rebels
Von Woche zu Woche freuen wir uns auf die nächste Folge, aber auch in der Zwischenzeit will Abends etwas geguckt werden. Und nachdem wir schon vor einem Jahr oder länger die drei ersten Rebels-Staffeln geschaut haben, haben wir nun in der Wartezeit zwischen den Mando-Folgen die vierte und letzte Staffel geguckt.
Und was soll ich sagen? Ich war mega geflasht! =D Mega-Story, tolle Figuren, Action, Drama…einfach extrem vieles, an dem die Filme sich hätten ein Beispiel nehmen können und sollen.
Schwankte ich in den ersten Staffeln mit meinen Haupt- Sympatien noch zwischen Kanan, Hera und Ezra, hat für mich in der letzten Staffel eindeutig Ezra das Rennen gemacht, denn selbst im Freundeskreis ist man sich einig: Der Junge ist ein typischer Mia-Charakter! =D So einer wie ich ihn gerne auch im Rollenspiel selbst spiele, den ich gerne in Geschichten einbaue oder über den ich gerne lese … und ja, den ich gerne auch auf dem Bildschirm sehe: ein cooler, junger, tougher Typ mit dem Herz am rechten Fleck!
Nun ja, und ohne hier groß etwas verraten zu wollen: ich hoffe, hoffe, hoffe, dass mit der Mando-Serie die Ereignisse aus Rebels aufgegriffen und fortgesetzt werden … damit ich ein Wiedersehen mit dem lieb gewonnen Jungen von Lothal und seinen nicht minder sympatischen Gefährten feiern kann.
Denn sie haben mich zu der Erkenntnis gebracht: es muss nicht das alte Star Wars Feeling da sein, um das neue Star Wars zu lieben. Go for it Filoni und Favreau! =)
AND NOW IN ENGLISH PLEASE!

As a child I simply loved Star Wars! I cut out every little snippet I could find in magazines and pasted it into a folder, I collected the characters at flea markets and of course I was a member of the OSWFC – the Official Star Wars Fan Club.
For me at that time it was not only movies, but a feeling – which (spoiler) later on could never be awakened in this way by the new movies or other publications.
Episodes I-III I completely fade out because I find them so horrible. Episode VII-IX (just like Solo) was quite nice to watch, but I quickly forgot it. I really liked Rogue One. But even this flick was only half Star Wars for me.
Well, and now we watch – like so many others – The Mandalorian and even though this series is only half Star Wars for me, I still think it’s really great! =D
And at least a little bit of the old It’s not just SciFi, but just as much fantasy and puppetry– feeling is back! Well, and Grogu alias actually I will be called Baby Yoda forever is a little ass, but also SUPER cute! =)
Star Wars Rebels
From week to week we are looking forward to the next episode, but in the meantime there is also something to watch in the evening. And after watching the first three Rebels seasons a year or more ago, we’ve now watched the fourth and last Rebels season in the waiting time between the Mando episodes.
And what can I say? I was absolutely flashed! =D Mega-story, great characters, action, drama…just extremely many things that the films could and should have taken an example from.
In the first seasons I was still wavering with my main sympathies between Kanan, Hera and Ezra, but last season Ezra clearly won the race for me, because even among my friends there is a consensus: The boy is a typical Mia-character! =D Someone like I like to play him in role-playing games, someone I like to incorporate into stories, or someone I like to read about and yes, someone I like to see on the screen: a cool, young, tough guy with his heart in the right place!
Well, and without wanting to give away too much here: I hope, hope, hope that the Mando series will pick up and continue the events from Rebels…so that I can celebrate a reunion with the dearly beloved boy from Lothal and his no less sympathetic companions.
Because they made me realize: you don’t have to have the old Star Wars feeling to love the new Star Wars. Go for it Filoni and Favreau! =)
